LCK Pros in Champions Queue: Here Are the Teams

There were issues with the Korean server of the official CQ, so many pros joined the unofficial APAC server. That server included VCS, LCO, LCK, LPL, LJL, LCS (Korean players) and PCS players. The server was created to provide access to the new rift and allow players to play against others without the problems found in solo queue,

Here are some of the teams that appeared in streams. I’ll stick to the LCK players.

GEN, KT, DK: Kellin and Canyon

DK Kellin and GEN Canyon ended up on one team. From the looks of it, everyone else was from other regions.

They ended up in another game together on the same team, and DK Showmaker was on the other team.

T1, DRX: Team Top Practices for Rule the Rift

Team Top captain Zeus played many games alongside DRX Rascal and Keria the night before LCK’s season kickoff event. Rather than waiting for the Discord server to fill their teams, they brought in players directly.

I’ll list the LCK and LCK CL players on the teams below, with each row representing one game with two opposing teams.

DRX, T1, KT, GEN: Friends Practice for Rule the Rift

Keria had a fun time on the server with a lot of his friends, notably Deft and Rascal. They had many games together, but here is one of the games.

T1: Faker Chooses Solo Queue

From what I could tell, Faker only played one game on stream. His team included DRX Pleata. The opposing team had NS Sylvie.

After the game and during the next stream when his team played a lot of CQ, he played solo queue and Arena instead.

BRO, KT, DRX, FOX: All LCK Game

Three DRX players were on one team, alongside KT Deft and GEN Mata (coach). The other team had three BRO players and two FOX (FearX) players.
