Language barrier? Does Rekkles know Korean? What will communication sound like within a team in the LCK system?
These questions flew through my mind when it was announced that Rekkles was joining T1’s Challengers team.
And LCK CL has now released voice comms from Week 1.
Several Thoughts
All I can say is… There’s not much from the first week. And that’s expected since the team didn’t win a single series. But there are comms from the games T1 Esports Academy won.
It was fun to see Rekkles hyping up the team a bit by saying “Let’s go, together as one” at around the 0:30 point in the video below.
On the other hand, the other players on the team talked about emotes, and Fnatic was brought up! It was pretty cool to see the Fnatic emote flashed in both games they won.
Anyway, there’s no English sub so far. But you get to hear the communication within the team. Hopefully, we’ll manage to get some more wins in the coming weeks. Let’s see more of that Smash-Rekkles synergy!
